July 1, 1947 - February 12, 2023
Cora Ann Steele, 75 of Walnut Ridge, died Sunday February 12, 2023 at her residence with her family by her side.
She was born in Ocala, FL on July 1, 1947 to Odis Roberts & Irene Light Roberts. She lived most of her life in Arkansas and was Vice President in sales. She was a loving Christian and a member of New Life Cathedral in Hoxie.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Odis and Irene; first husband, Stanley Morris; second husband, Darrell Steele; brothers, Larry Roberts and Clayton Roberts; and sister, Patti Brown.
Cora is survived by her brothers, Jerry (Carolyn) Roberts of CO, Donnie (Joyce) Roberts of Hoxie, Pardo (Elizabeth) Roberts of Imboden, and Kevin (Kim) Roberts of Hoxie; sisters, Murl (Gary) Defries of Hoxie, Mary Sharp of Smithville, Janice (Rodger) Slagley of Walnut Ridge, Kim (Steve) Huddleston of Jonesboro, and Karen McDonald of Walnut Ridge; special brother-in-law, Eddie Brown of Montrose, MD; step children, Chris (Christy) Steele of Clover Bend, Richard Steele of West Plains, MO, D.J. Steele of Walnut Ridge, Casey Jones of Bono, Angie (Billy) Brewer of Hoxie, Charlene (Barry) Raby of Hoxie, Tammy (Leslie) Gates of Walnut Ridge, and Kim (Josh) Morrison of Batesville; and many nieces, nephews, step grandchildren, & friends.
A memorial service will be held Saturday February 18, 2023 beginning at 10:00AM at New Life Cathedral in Hoxie with Chuck Fitzgeral officiating.
Burial will be held privately by the family.
