Cleo Brewer, 61 died May 14, 2010 in Detroit, Michigan. She was born on February 17, 1949 in Thebes, Arkansas to Mattie and Finas Brewer. Both of whom has preceded her in death. Ms. Brewer accepted Christ at a young age. She attended St. Peters Missionary Baptist Church in Thebes, Arkansas, where she was an active member in the choir. Cleo moved to Detroit in December of 1975 where she joined Silver Star Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor V.J. Vassar.

She is preceded in death by her parents Mattie and Finas Brewer. She leaves to cherish her memory, five children, Tommy Tolfree, Lorraine, Sandra Darget (Urban), LaTasha Pickens (Anthony), and LaTonya Haynes; three sisters, Pastor Grace Reese (Michael), Dortha Brewer, Mary (Andrew) Hadley, and three brothers Archie (Mamie) Brewer, Donald Brewer and Steven Brewer, fourteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, May 22, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Peter Missionary Baptist Church in Montrose, Arkansas with Pastor Victor Doll officiating. Pallbearers are Steven Brewer, Donald Brewer, Urban Darget, Elvin Crow, Erick Crow and Anthony Pickens. Honorary Pallbearers are Archie Brewer, Shaquille Coleman, and Andrew Hadley. Interment will be at Thebes Cemetery in Thebes Cemetery under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home, Inc in Hamburg, Arkansas. Online guest book at www.cromwellfuneralhome.net
