Mrs. Martha Sue Simpson, 53 of Little Rock, AR, died Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at St. Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock, AR. Mrs. Simpson was a native of Fountain Hill, AR, but a resident of Little Rock for the past 16 years, an account representative for Entergy, and a member of Bethel AME Church. She was preceded in death by her father, David Simpson and one brother, Clark Simpson.
She is survived by two sons, Edward Coleman of Fayetteville, AR & Roderick Smith of Tulsa, OK, one daughter, Torletta Simpson of Little Rock, AR, her mother, Willie Jean Daniels of Fountain Hill, AR, four brothers: Daryle Daniels, Ricky, wife Alveria Daniels & Clarence, wife Wanda Daniels all of Fountain Hill, AR & Donald, wife Karen Foster of Crossett, AR, two sisters: Latrice Simpson of Crossett, AR & Rosemary Simpson of Hamburg, AR, and three grandchildren, Chace DeShawn Hughes, Kalonni Londell Smith and Ryan Markiese Bush.
Services are Saturday, November 15, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Bethel AME Church with Rev. Christopher Goodwin & Rev. Daryle Daniels, Jr., officiating. Visitation Friday, November 14 from 6-7 PM at Cromwell. Pallbearers are Demon Johnson, Dion Cole, Christopher Simpson, Clarence Daniels, Jr., James Chapman Diggs & Patrick Daniels. Honorary pallbearers are Jeremy Simpson, Thomas Daniels, Artie Moore, Terrence Daniels & Brendon Woods. Burial in Norris Hill Cemetery.
