Elsie Grace Mausehardt, 77, of Crossett, died Thursday, August 13, 2020, in Crossett. Mrs. Mausehardt was a native of the Shiloh Community, outside of Hamburg, a resident of Crossett since 2005, and a former resident of Fountain Hill for many years. She graduated from Fountain Hill High School and the University of Arkansas at Monticello with a Bachelor of Science in Education degree. Mrs. Mausehardt taught kindergarten at Fountain Hill Elementary School for 23 years, and she was a member of the West Crossett Missionary Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Fred Mausehardt in 2005; a son, Neal Mausehardt in 2019; her parents, Henry Milton and Estelle V. Mitchell Jeffers; two sisters, Berthalene Jeffers and Dorothy Wilkerson and four brothers, Charles Jeffers, Cecil Jeffers, Byron Jeffers and Lester Jeffers.
She is survived by her daughter, Cathy Doss of Crossett; was Nanny to her five grandchildren who she adored, Chance and Casey Mausehardt, Jeffery Doss and wife, Amanda, Jamie West and husband, Tim, and Jaci Doss, six great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services are 10 a.m., Monday, August 17, 2020, in the Flat Creek Cemetery with Bro. Chris Sexton officiating.
