Hamburg, Arkansas
Mrs. Jennifer Louise Hudson, 58, of Hamburg died Saturday, February
12, 2011 at the Glenwood Regional Medical Center in West Monroe,
Louisiana. Mrs. Hudson was a native of Crossett; a resident of Hamburg
since 1997 and a former resident of Crossett for many years. She
graduated from Crossett High School in 1970. She was a Registered
Nurse and worked at the Ashley County Medical Center for 34 years.
She was a member of the West Crossett Missionary Baptist Church and
she attended Eden Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her
family and grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her father, Donald Rogers in 2002.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Billy Hudson of Hamburg; a
son, Bryan Hudson and wife, Amy, of Fountain Hill; a daughter, Christy
Pullin and husband, Timmy, of Crossett; her mother, Marjorie Gilmore
Rogers of Hamburg; a sister, Susan Stone of Crossett; six
grandchildren, Crystal, Ashley, Drake, Allie, Kaylie, and Trent and a host
of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are 2 p.m., Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at the Eden
Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Hicks officiating. Burial will be in the Flat Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers are Roy Hudson, David Rochester,
Timothy Chavis, Larry Hudson, Chad Hudson, Kenneth Dunemn, Wade Barnett and Greg White. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312 or the American Heart Association, PO Box 1610, Little Rock, Arkansas 72203.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Monday at the funeral home.
