Ms. Martha Louise Graham, 46, of Fountain Hill, died Thursday, February 11, 2010, at the Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, AR. A native of Ashley County and a lifelong resident of Fountain Hill, she was a homemaker and worked in her father’s retail business for many years. She dedicated much of her life as a caregiver to her father and took great pride in her family, especially, in her nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Coy T. and Mary V. Burch Graham; brother, Gerald Lynn Graham; and sister-in law, Erlene Graham. She is survived by three brothers, Bobby R. Graham, Sr., and wife, Lou E., Curtis Waymon Graham all of Fountain Hill, and Jimmy L Graham of Trona, CA; two sisters, Dianne Yelvington and husband, Kerry, of Drasco, AR, and Barbara Stout and husband, Kenny, of Austin , AR; two sisters-in-law; Margaret Graham of Ridgecrest, CA, Loretta Graham of Ducor, CA, and a brother-in-law, Larry McKinney of Ward, AR, and many nieces and nephews.
The family received friends at Cromwell Funeral Home, Inc, on Saturday, February 13, 6 - 8 p.m. Funeral services were Sunday, February 14, 2 p.m., at Cromwell Funeral Home, Inc., with Rev. Gene Gregory officiating. Pallbearers are Bobby Graham, Jr., Glen Graham, Barry Graham, Gene Trantham, Jr., Frank Wesson, and Ray Wesson. Honorary pallbearer is Waymon Bradley Graham. Interment will follow at Flat Creek Cemetery under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home, Inc.
The family would like to express a very special “Thank You” to Dr. Kamal Patel, Mrs. Katherine K. Jefferson, and his staff, for the compassion shown to Ms. Graham at Baptist Medical Center. In leiu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fountian Hill First Baptist Church, c/o Edith Thurman, PO Box 265, Fountain Hill, AR 71642.
