David Lee McClendon, 57, of Conway died Tuesday (March 12, 2002) at Conway Regional Medical Center.
Born Jan. 7, 1945, in Greenville, Miss., son of the late Douglas Jefferson and Ruby Lee Beacham McClendon, he was a regional sales manager and a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church.
He was also preceded in death by a sister, Mary Pigg; and a brother, Douglas McClendon.
Survivors are his wife, Betsy Woodside McClendon; two sons, Lee McClendon of Greers Ferry and Lewis McClendon of Springdale; a daughter, Elizabeth McClendon of Atlanta; four sisters, Myrtis Doyle of Smyrna, Ga., Sharon Wheatley of Citrus Springs, Fla., Annabelle Murphy of Greenville, Miss., and Delores Long of Kellyton, Ala.; four brothers, Hugh McClendon, Joe McClendon and Frank McClendon, all of Greenville, Miss., and Earl McClendon of Jacksonville, Fla.; and three grandchildren.
Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Conway with the Rev. Peggy Hays and the Rev. Gar Demo officiating.
