WILLIAM DAVID "WIL DOG" ELAM, age 42, of Little Rock, died Wednesday, Dec. 23, 1997. He was a concrete finisher and loved the outdoors. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Garner, Little Rock; two sons, Jimmy Garner, Little Rock, Reford Garner, Bigelow; two daughters, Barbara Armstrong, El Paso, Ark., Margret Davis, Little Rock; five grandchildren, Lewis and Troy Curtis, both of El Paso, Ark., Brittney Garner, Little Rock, Alexis Garner, Bigelow, Nathaniel Davis, Little Rock; one stepdaughter, Monica Purtle, Little Rock; six brothers, Carl Brock, Detroit, Mich., Bobby Elam, Fort Smith, Johnny Elam, Booneville, Charles Elam, Hot Springs, Jerry Elam, Conroe, Texas, Rick Elam, Benton; two sisters, Wanda McReynolds, Jacksonville and Betty Elam, Bald Knob. Funeral will be Friday, 10 a.m., Westbrook Chapel, with burial in Pisgah Cemetery, 2 pm at Delight, Ark. by Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Visitation will be Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
