PEA RIDGE— Stanley A. Townzen, 67, of Pea Ridge, passed away Aug. 23, 2015, in Bentonville. He was born June 1, 1948, in Bentonville, the son of Glen Donald and Norma Nadine Vanscoy Townzen. Stanley was a design engineer and work at Wendt-Sonis for 37 years. He also designed a computerized longarm quilting machine and formed a company to sell the machine both domestically and internationally. Stanley was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Rogers and was a 1st Sgt. in the Arkansas National Guard from Oct. 31, 1967, to April 1, 1992. He is preceded in death by his parents and one son, Mark Townzen; his sister, Phyllis Shook.

Survived by his wife, Darleen "DeeDee" Ross Townzen of the home; son, Jeffery Allen Townzen and wife, Michelle of Lowell; stepsons: Butch Wiseley, Jr. of Rogers, Alan Anthony "Tony" Wiseley of Bentonville, and Eddie E. Wiseley of Pea Ridge; his siblings, Carroll Townzen and wife, Ginger of Mt. Juliet, Tenn. and Diana Pults-Sims and husband, Marcus of Springdale; his brother-in-law, Bob Shook of Tulsa; grandchildren: Kendra Lee Townzen, Donovan Lee Wiseley, Christopher Dwayne Wiseley, Jessika Maree Morgan, and Kaily Rain Wiseley.

Funeral services: 10 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2015, at Temple Baptist Church in Rogers with Pastor Ron Fields officiating. Military honors by the Rogers V.F.W. Post 3031. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th, Rogers. Online condolences to www.bentoncountyfuneralhome.com.
