*Obituary
Jean Spratt Carlile, 70, formerly of Higginson, died Sunday, October 2. She was the daughter of Walter and Allie Spratt.
Survivors include her husband, Henry Carlile of Maramec, Oklahoma; two daughters, Becky Meyer and Linda Agee of California; one sister, Oma Spratt Lineberry of Memphis; and seven grandchildren.
She was preceeded in death by one son, James Whitehead.
Graveside services will be at Gum Springs Cemetery on Wednesday, October 5, at 2 pm by McEuen Funeral Home of Searcy.
