Reggie "Reg" Slayton, 60 of Hoxie passed away December 5, 2022, at his residence. Reg was born October 29, 1962, to Bobby Lee Slayton and Helen Warner Slayton.

Reg Graduated Hoxie High School in 1981 with honors. Reg graduated 3rd in his class. While in school Reg recieved the Agri award and was voted most studious of his graduating class. After High School Reg worked at Douglas Quikut in Walnut Ridge as a material handler(molding) from August 1983 to December 1991. while working at Douglas Quikut Reg attended BRTC receiving a degree for electrical engineering in 1987. After leaving Douglas Quikut Reg partnered with his brother where they farmed, bought and sold heavy equipment, as well as owning a salvage yard, and later owning several rental properties.

Since 2018 Reg has suffered from the long term illness of Heart Disease in which he passed from.

Reg is survived by his mother, Helen Slayton; brother, Phillip Slayton; son, Eric Slayton of Jonesboro; and uncle, Emmett Slayton Jr.

Reg was predeceased by his father, Bobby Lee Slayton.

Reg will be loved and missed by his family and friends.
