Lynelle Warren, 81, of McNeil, AR died Saturday, January 28, 2017 at the Magnolia Regional Medical Center in Magnolia, AR.
Lynelle was born September 27, 1935 in Emerson, AR to the late Odell and Carrie Marie (Stewart) Chaffin. She was a registered nurse and retired after many years from Magnolia Hospital. She was a member of the Victory Baptist Church and was very active with the Alzheimer’s Association. She was appointed by Gov. Bill Clinton to the Health Services Commission and served as the first Home Health Director at Magnolia Hospital.
Lynelle is survived by her husband Lonnie Warren of McNeil; daughters LaJuana Warner and husband Steve of Jonesboro, Vanda Crank and husband Shane of Magnolia, La Rissa Kemp and husband Shawn of Anna, TX; son Jeff Warren and wife Stephanie of Marion; daughter in law Lori Windham and husband Bryan of El Dorado; brother Jimmy Chaffin and wife Genia of Stephens; grandchildren Parker Showalter and wife Jessica of Texarkana, Trent Warner and fiancé Ashley Tosch of Jonesboro, Justin Hollensworth of Magnolia and fiancé Kasey Tabor of Beebe, Paul Warren of Lewisville, TX, Andrew Warren of Dallas, Matthew Warren of Marion, James Kemp and wife Kelsey of Anna, Grace Kemp of Arkadelphia, Katie Kemp of Anna, Abbey Kemp of Anna, Rebecca Hoffman and husband Kyle of Chicago, IL, Jonathan Warren of Bryant, Josh Windham of Fargo, ND, Emily O’Neal of Dallas; great grandchildren Brooklyn and Bristol Showalter of Texarkana; numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and a host of friends.
Visitation with the family will be Monday, January 30 at Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 31 at 2:00 p.m. at Lewis Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. David Watkins officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery. Lynelle’s grandsons will serve as her pallbearers.
