February 23, 1883 - August 19, 1922
McNeil, Aug. 21 - Brown Pennington, a prominent farmer, and formerly connected with his father, J. C. Pennington of Lewisville as building contractor, died at his home here early Saturday morning, after a long illness. Burial was Saturday afternoon at New Hope cemetery by the Masonic fraternity. He is survived by his wife, father and mother and several brothers and sisters. (Arkansas Democrat - August 21, 1922)
