Boyd Riddick, Jr., 83 of McNeil, Arkansas passed away Thursday, June 17, 2010 at his home.
He was born on April 21, 1927 in Troy, Arkansas to the late Daniel Boyd and Nora (Roberson) Riddick. He was a machinist and retired from Alumax, and was a longtime member and deacon of College Hill Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and three sisters.
Boyd is survived by his wife, Virginia Riddick; one son, Larry Riddick; two grandchildren, Chae Riddick, Brandi Riddick Barge all McNeil, Arkansas; four great grandchildren; one sister, Marie Davis of Stephens, Arkansas; a special friend, John Collings of McNeil, Arkansas; and a host of nieces, nephews, and numerous friends.
Funeral services will be Saturday, June 19, 2010 at 2:00 pm at the College Hill Baptist Church with Bro. Dennis Cole and Bro. Greg Payne officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. of Magnolia. Family visitation will be Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the College Hill Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be Gene Drake, Sammy Brazell, Mike Blair, Kelly Blair, Danny Brazell, and John Collings.
