Windell Ray Baxley, 75, of Magnolia, AR passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2018 at his residence.
Ray was born on December 22, 1943 in Nashville, AR to the late Luther Columbus and Emma Lee (Teague) Baxley. He was a member Hephzibah Baptist Church. He worked for Hydrostatic Oil Company and was formerly a foreman at West Tree Service. He was a wonderful loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and uncle.
Ray was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, L.C. Baxley, James Baxley, Billy Baxley, Annie May Ludlum, Otha Lee Lewis, and Sylvia Wilhite.
He is survived by his wife Sofia Baxley of Magnolia, AR; children, Becky Baxley and Melanie Combest of Hallsville, TX, Wendy Smith of Longview, TX, Glenda Dumadag and husband Jeremy, Dindo Monghit and wife Edreleina, and Dennis Monghit all of the Philippines; grandchildren, Angel Hickman and husband Jody, Cody Brian, Catie Baxley, Chase Baxley, Calli Baxley, Connor Baxley, AJ Dumadag, Eloiga Dumadag, Geyla Dumadag, Belli Monghit, and Meme Monghit; great grandchildren, Carley Brian, Tatum Brian, and Mary Mae Hickman; and sister Lois Otwell of Magnolia, AR.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, December 30, 2018 at the Lewis Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Josh Nations officiating. Burial will follow at the New Hope Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia, AR. Visitation will be Saturday from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
The family requests memorial contributions are to be made to Hephzibah Baptist Church, 22020 Highway 98, Emerson, AR 71740.
