Oscar Samuel Jones, III, 65, of Searcy, died Friday, May 30, 2014. He was born February 15, 1949 in Monahans, Texas, the son of Oscar and Gloria Jones.
Oscar is survived by his mother, Gloria Martin of Searcy, a son, Shane Jones of Texarkana, a brother, Danny Lee Martin of Texarkana, and numerous other relatives. He is preceded in death by his father, a son, Ricky Jones, a brother, Richard Jones, and a sister, Deanna Fisher.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, June 1, 2014 at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel in Searcy. Cremation arrangements entrusted to Powell Funeral Home of Searcy.
