Joyce Rickard, 73, of Magnolia, AR, formerly of Luxora, AR passed away Friday, August 11, 2017 at her residence.
Joyce was born September 1, 1943 in Luxora and was preceded in death by her parents Freland “Pete” Looney and Mildred Marie (Kilpatrick) Looney; son Arthur “Ricky” Rickard, Jr.; and a brother Fred Looney.
She was a loyal employee of Custom Products for over 30 years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and spent her entire life taking care of her family.
Joyce is survived by her husband of 55 years Arthur Rickard of Magnolia; son Jamie Rickard of Magnolia; grandchildren Courtney Rickard and Eric Griffith of Magnolia, John Rickard and wife Olivia of Pleasant Plains, James Rickard and wife Jinger of Stephens, Tessa Rickard of Hot Springs, Sharlene Allender of Concord, and Randy Allender of Concord; great grandchildren Reina Morales, Rider Mason, Reileigh Mason, Karli Andrews and husband Matthew, and Rhiannon Tollefson and husband Andrew; several great- great grandchildren ; and brother Ralph Looney.
Visitation will be Monday, August 14 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia. Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 15 at 2:00 p.m. at Lewis Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Lyndell Chaffin officiating. Burial will follow at the New Hope Cemetery in McNeil.
Pallbearers will be Eric Griffith, James Rickard, John Rickard, Jessie Vickers, Cale Jean, and Henry Weaver.
