Walter Harrison, 90 of McNeil, Arkansas died Monday, November 14, 2011 in Gladewater, Texas. He was born on February 17, 1921 in Bishop, Texas to the late Jim and Rose Harrison and was also preceded in death by his wife, Lillian (Foster) Harrison.
Walter was a member of the Westside Baptist Church. He enjoyed visiting with family and friends and loved his pets.
He is survived by his son, Mickey Harrison and wife Teresa of McNeil; granddaughter, Cheryl Harrison of Rosston; great grandson, Dylan Marlar of Rosston; sister, Nancy Jones of Longview, Texas; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 18th at the New Hope Cemetery with Bro. Eric Goble officiating under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. of Magnolia. Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Westside Baptist Church.
