Mamie Evelyn Cole, 92, passed away Friday, December 14th at White County Medical Center. She was born near Carlisle on March 4, 1920 to the late Floyd Griggs and Nora Parker Griggs.
Mrs. Cole was a member of Landmark Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Arkansas. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, George "Bill" Clinton Cullum, and her second husband, Vernon Cole; four sons, Terry Edward Cullum, Bobby Clinton Cullum, Quinea Floyd Cullum, and Randy Edward Cullum; one brother, Billy Griggs; two sisters, Mildred Helms and Emma Lou Townsend.
She is survived by two daughters, Pam Wyatt (Johnny) of Pangburn and Jan Butler (Billy) of Searcy; nine grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Saturday, December 15th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home.
Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 16th at Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home with burial following at Gum Springs Cemetery.
