Jessie Burnell, age 85, of 508 E. Roselawn, Waldo died Thursday, November 8, 2012 at home in Waldo. Jessie was born March 20, 1927 in McNeil, AR. She is the daughter of the late Henry and the late Willie (Down) Curry.
She was a homemaker who leaves to cherish her memory eight children: Peggy Ann Christopher, Pauline Harper, Paul Burnell, Daryl Burnell and Hughey Burnell of Waldo, AR, Verda (Jean) Burnell, Pearlina Flowers, and Oscar Burnell of McNeil, AR, and one sister: Lennie Mixon of McNeil, AR.
Visitation will be Friday, November 16 from 12 noon-5:00 p.m. at the Henderson's Mortuary, 614 Calhoun Rd, Magnolia.
Funeral will be held on Saturday, November 17 at 2:00 p.m. at Columbia Baptist District Center (Youngblood Auditorium), 611 S. Madison St, Magnolia, AR. Burial will follow in Old St. Matthew Cemetery, McNeil, under the direction of Henderson Funeral Service. www.hendersonsmortuary.com
