Billy Edd Doyle, 86, of Portia passed from this life on Friday, November 25, 2022 at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. He was born October 9, 1936, in Coffman to the late Edgar Davis and Harriet Pearl (Ballard) Doyle. He was united in marriage to Phyllis Clark on August 22, 1962, in Trumann. Billy was a farmer during his life. He was a member of Black Rock United Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis; brother and sisters, Bob Doyle, Marguerite McRoy, Joann Trawick, Louise Hilbert, and infant sister, Irene.
He is survived by sons, Timothy Alan Doyle (Carrie) and Steven Edward Doyle (Shelley) both of Portia; brother, Van Doyle (Janice) of Lynn; grandson, Evan Doyle; and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be Monday, November 28, 2022, at 1 p.m. in Clover Bend Cemetery. Reverend Dennis Calaway will officiate. All arrangements are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.

Phyllis Marie Doyle, 76 of Portia, passed away October 16, 2013 in the Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
Born November 4, 1936 in Cedar Ridge, daughter of the late Henry and Amanda Million Clark. She was a homemaker and a member or the Black Rock United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband of fifty-one years, Billy Edd Doyle of the home; two sons, Tim (Carrie) Doyle and Steve (Shelley) Doyle both of Portia; one grandson, Evan Doyle of Portia and many other relatives and friends.
Bro. Jim West officiating. Pallbearers will be Dr. Terry Van Doyle, Billy Doyle, David Doyle, Randy Doyle, Joe Penn, and Jim Penn. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Joe Pickney, J.B. Tate, Bill Maxwell, Donald Clayton, Dickie Smith, and Oland Goad.
