John Edward Hall, 62, of Searcy, passed away December 24, 2018 at Unity Health in Searcy. He was born October 13, 1956 at Searcy to the late Jack and Eloise Joyner Hall.
He was a Searcy High School graduate, and went on to attend UCA. He spent majority of his career as a licensed electrician.
He married Joellen O’Guin Hall October 31, 1980 at Searcy; she preceded him in death March 12, 2010.
He is survived by a sister, Margaret Chandler (David) of Searcy; two nieces, Amy and Sarah Chandler; and nephew, Paul Chandler.
The family wants to acknowledge and express their gratitude to John’s friends who stood by his side and held his hand until the very end.
Private services will be announced by the family at a later date.

Joellen Hall, 50, of Searcy, died Sunday, March 14 at UAMS after a long battle with lymphoma. She was born May 7, 1959 in Searcy to Helen and the late Joe T. O'Guin.
Joellen is survived by her husband John E. Hall, her mother, a brother, Joel, and one aunt, Imogene Stanley of Carlsbad, New Mexico.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. O'Guin and Mr. and Mrs. Q. C. Grant.
Services will be private. Suggested memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Searcy or to the Searcy Public Library. Cremation arrangements by Powell Funeral Home of Searcy. www.powellfuneralhome.net
