BECK, Ressa Quick - Funeral services for Mrs. Ressa Beck, aged 74 years and eight months, who died here Friday night following a second hemorrhage of the brain, were held Sunday afternoon at the Bentonville Christian Church, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. Dwight Lewis. Burial was in the Bentonville cemetery. Mrs. Beck passed away at the home of Mrs. F.H. Rizer on B Street, S.W. where she had had rooms for some time. A few weeks ago she had returned from Jefferson City, Mo. where she had been visiting with her son, H.J. Beck, and wife who formerly was Miss Susie Corlew of Bentonville. Mrs. Beck had been a resident of Bentonville the greater part of the time for many years. She was born in Indiana in October 1857. She is survived by three sons, Roy Quick of Springfield, Mo., H.J. Beck of Jefferson City, Mo. and Claude Beck of Tulsa, Okla. and by a number of other relatives.

Mrs. Ressa Beck, aged 76 years, died at the home of Mrs. F.H. Rizer, Bentonville, Friday night, August 12th, 1932 after a short illness. Funeral services were held at the Christian Church Sunday afternoon, the pastor, Rev. Dwight E. Lewis, officiating. Burial was made in the Bentonville cemetery. Mrs. Beck was born Oct. 15th, 1856 in Indiana and came here with her husband and family in 1906. Mr. Beck was formerly connected with the Hopkins Cooperage Co. and later with the Peck Cooperage. He died a number of years ago. Since that time she had made her home with relatives, spending last winter with her son, H.J. Beck, in Jefferson City. Since returning she had lived with Mrs. Rizer. Surviving are three sons, C.M. Beck of Tulsa; H.J. Beck of Jefferson City and E.A. Quick of Springfield, Mo., also her daughter, Dolores Beck of Rogers.
