Marion Lee Wimberley, Sr., 74, of Heber Springs, Ark., died Saturday, October 15, 1994, in North Little Rock, Ark.
Mr. Wimberley was born December 6, 1919 at Leighton, Alabama.
On July 25, 1940 at Steele, Mo., he was united in marriage with Hollis Ketchum.
Mr. Wimberley served in the U.S. Army Medical Corps during World War II. He was a farmer following his military duty, then a businessman for 25 years, returning to farming and raising cattle the last 20 years.

Mr. Wimberley leaves his wife, Hollis Ketchum Wimberley, of Pangburn; One son, Lee Wimberley Jr., of North Little Rock; A daughter, Terri Lynn Wimberley, of North Little Rock; His mother, Lillie P. Wimberley, of Myrtle, Miss.; Two brothers: Otis Wimberley of Myrtle and Gene Wimberley of Memphis, Tenn.; One sister, Lila Sparrow, of Memphis, Tenn.; and Two granddaughters: Heather Wimberley and Rachel Wimberley, both of North Little Rock.
Funeral services for Mr. Wimberley were held Tuesday, October 18, 1994, at Almstead Funeral Home in Heber Springs.
Burial was at Pangburn, Ark. with arrangements by Almstead Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Bobbie Ketchum, Dickie Ketchum, Barry Sparrow, Richard Romeo and Dwight Morse.
Honorary pallbearers were Crocket Morse and Chuck Sagers.
