Naamon Liles Green, age 87, of Pangburn, Arkansas, passed away June 2, 2020. Born on December 30, 1932 in Floral, Arkansas, he was the son of the late R.L. and Maggie Baker Green.
Naamon was a loving son, brother, husband, father and grandfather. He was a veteran of the United States Navy having served on the U.S.S. Bradford from 1950 – 1954. He was a member of the Pine View Church of Christ. He enjoyed bird hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Gerald Green, R.L. Green, Raymond Green and Easlynn Green, his half-sister Edith Sharp and his daughters Sherry Garrison and Shelia Clayton.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years Cylvia Marie Green, his daughters Shelly Green of Searcy, Arkansas, and Shauna Vernon and her husband Flint of Pangburn, Arkansas, his sister Sharon Horner of Searcy, Arkansas, 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
A graveside service with military honors will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, June 6, 2020 in the Henderson Cemetery with Fred Edens and Richard Ramsey officiating.
