October 22, 1873 - January 3, 1961
Services for Marshall Walker, 87, widely known Alma resident, were conducted Sunday, February 5, 1961 at the Alma Church of Christ with C. Ledbetter, pastor, and the Rev. Charles Graham officiating. Burial was at Byers Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, Eva; four sons, Elber of Keota, Oklahoma, Lewis of Ponca City, OK, Ed of Van Buren, AR, and Frank of Fort Smith; five daughters, Carrie, Edna, Mary, Olivia and Ruth; 30 grandchildren, 63 great-grand-children; 3 step-sons, 2 of whom are W. F. Arnold of Fort Smith and W. L. Arnold of Van Buren; 10 step-daughters, 5 of whom are Miss Allie Arnold of Fort Smith, Mrs. Haskell Parks of California, Mrs. Jack McClendon of California, Mrs. Audrey Cos of Dallas, Texas and Mrs. Ed Lynn fo Sayre, OK.
