Jerry Ferguson, 68, of Alma went to be with our Lord and Savior October 2, 2020.
Jerry loved his family, his friends, traveling, horse trading and serving in ministry with his brother in law, Keith. Jerry was a long haul truck driver, spending the last 19 years of his career with Walmart.
Jerry was preceded in death by his mother & father, Roland & Marie; his sister, Evelyn Campbell.
Jerry is survived by on brother, Kenneth (Sue) of Alma; sisters Judy (Keith) Ramey of Cedarville and Susie Butler of Mountainburg; & one brother in law, Roger Campbell of Cedarville. Jerry is also survived by his loving & devoted wife of 28 years, Sally Ferguson; one son, Jeff (Jennifer) of Cedarville; two stepdaughters, Tawyna (Shawn) Shelton of Alma and Tammy (Danny) McCause of Bella Vista; a stepson Carl (Angel) McPeak of Morrilton; as well as a host of grandchildren including 2 great grandchildren.
Graveside service to celebrate Jerry’s life will be 1:00 pm Thursday October 8, 2020 at Evergreen Cemetery in Alma, AR. under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel, 4817 Kelley Hwy in Fort Smith. Public viewing will be Wednesday October 7 from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Dakota Shelton, Shawn Shelton, Danny McCause, Carl McPeak, Zack McPeak and Keith Ramey. Honorary Pallbearers will be Tanner Shelton and Gary Martin.
