Royann F. Foreman, 74, of Kenosha, Wisconsin went to be with the Lord, May 19, 2022. She was born July 6, 1947 in Russellville, Arkansas to Wilson Falls and Jewel Whitfield. Royann was preceded in death by her Husband, James E. Foreman (12/2006), and by her first Son, Douglas H. Foreman (10/1990).
Royann grew up in Russellville AR, but lived most of her adult life in Conway AR, where she raised her two Sons, Doug and Brian. She was a loving person that made every effort to help others throughout her life. She worked for the Conway Social Security Administration for 33 years (4/1973 to 6/2006), helping others to get the support benefits they needed. She devoted her time and energy to her family's well being.
Her eldest son, Doug, was taken from us, due to a sudden illness in 1990, and then her husband, Jim, was taken from us in 2006. Regardless of the hurdles in her life, she continued living her life, and trying to enjoy it to the fullest with family and friends. She enjoyed being outdoors and being active, whether it was an ocean cruise, gardening at home, or out at a car show with her 1972 Chevelle. She even beat lung cancer in 2015, and continued to enjoy her life. She was a trooper that wouldn't let life get her down.
Unfortunately, she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's/Dementia a few years ago, and as it does with everyone it afflicts, it took its toll on Royann, but fortunately she was still fairly cognizant until her passing. A gift to all of us.
Royann is survived by; Her son, James Brian Foreman (Donna), her sisters, Nadine Rail, Rosemary Mahan, and Judy Taylor, granddaughters Kayleigh and Savannah, great grandson Austin and great great grandson Jasiah ,her nephews/nieces, Alan, Ben, Leslie, and Kevin.
Royann wants people to celebrate her life, and not dwell on the sadness of the event. Everyone mourns, but don't forget the good times in the process. Hold on to those cherished memories, and carry on, as a tribute to her.
Funeral services are Thursday, June 2nd, 2022 at 2:00pm held at Roller McNutt Funeral Home. Burial Services will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will start at 1:00pm preceding the funeral services.
