Oliana 'Oli' Rene White, age 17, a resident of Dover, Arkansas, died Friday, June 21, 2002 in Dover, Arkansas. She was born on May 22, 1985 in Russellville, Arkansas, to David Powell and Lori (Glover) White Latimer. She was a Home Schooled Student who achieved a 3.71 GPA, and worked for JimGlo Kennels in Dover. 'Oli' was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Donald C. Powell, and an uncle, Ron Powell. Ms. White was a great friend to a lot of people, a peacekeeper, joker, music and movie lover,and a good sister. She a member of First United Pentecostal Church in Russellville.
Survivors include her parents, David C. Powell of Joplin, Lori J. Latimer of Little Rock, and Tommy D. and Rebel L. White of Dover; three brothers, Christopher C. White of Dover, Steven Powell of Sunland, Patrick J. 'Joe' White of Dover; four sisters, Stephanie E. White of Russellville, Tristan Powell of Monrovia, Candice Reyes of Duarte, Rachel 'Nikki' white of Dover; grandparents Joy Powell of Joplin, Sherman L. and Jean Glover of Anaheim, C.W. and Mamie Apple of Dover, Frankie and Juanita Robertson of Benton; aunts and uncles, Calvin and Marie Tullous and Henry and Sally Apple of Russellville, Danny and Ester Powell and John and Laura Osborne of Joplin, Joe and Lyn Powell of Knoxville, Wilburn and Dawn Apple of Longview, Eddie and Gloria Snyder of Atkins, Randy and Sandy Apple of Pottsville, Mike and Monica Apple of Dover, Ann Frye, Donnie and Beckie Wilson and Robbie and Sue Robertson of Benton. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, June 26, 2002 at the Humphrey Chapelofficiated by Rev. John Sweigart, Rev. Tony Reynolds, and Rev. Mickey Shields. Burial will be at McFadden Cemetery in Dover, Arkansas under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service. Open Visitation will begin at 1:00PM Tuesday.
She was 17 when killed in a one vehicle accident off of Rushing Road, in Dover, Arkansas.
