ROGERS — Clydus Hodge, beloved wife, companion, best friend, mother, and grandmother, was carried home by the angels to Jesus on Aug. 12, 2021. Born Oct. 9, 1945, to Leonard and Ethel Donley, she passed to her new life at her home in Rogers surrounded by family.

Clydus was a homemaker and attended Freedom Freewill Baptist Church at Garfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ernest Donley; and sister, Eileen Keck.

She is survived by her husband, Harold Hodge of the home; children, Arleen Doyle of Rogers, Janet (Steve) Green of Rogers, Connie Eiland of Rogers, Steven Hodge of Farmington; granddaughters, Amy Doyle of Rogers and Lori (Nick) Ames of Springdale; great-granddaughters, Addy, Milly and Emmy Jane Ames; and sister, Marie Proctor of Shiloh.

Funeral services 10 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2021, at Freedom Freewill Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Walnut Hill Cemetery at Garfield. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Monday, Aug. 16, 2021, at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. Fourth Street, Rogers.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Freedom Freewill Baptist Church.
