Bobby Rogers, age 73, of Malvern, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 20, 2013. He was born in Boxelder, Texas on December 18, 1939 to the late Johnny R. Rogers and Viola Hawthorn Rogers. Bobby had lived in Malvern since he was two years old. He was a retired fuel system installer for Ozark Equipment Company and a member of the Army National Guard. Bobby was a Christian and attended First Assembly of God Church.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda Finney Rogers, of Malvern, to whom he was married on May 30, 1961; by his son, Ray Rogers of Malvern; a daughter, Terri Priddy of Benton; two sisters, Betty Hendrix and Wanda Willingham, both of Malvern; two brothers, Roy Rogers of Alexander and James Rogers of Malvern; five grandchildren, Austin Freeman, Blake Priddy, Morgan Priddy, Hayley Thornton, and Lauren Rogers; and by one special great-grandson, Levi John Williams.

Bobby was also preceded in death by a daughter, Deanna Rogers Freeman, and by two sisters, Johnnie Bell Hunter and Sue Rogers.

The family will receive friends at J. A. Funk Funeral Home on Monday evening, April 22, 2013 from six until eight o'clock.

The funeral service will be two o'clock Tuesday afternoon, April 23, 2013 in the chapel of J. A. Funk Funeral with Brother Larry Stinson officiating. Interment will follow in Rockport Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be: Blake Priddy, Kyle Keeney, Jeff Rogers, Seth Coates, Austin Freeman, and Robby Rogers.
