Grace Lillian Walton Miller was born in Scurry County, Texas. She was the youngest child of David Erastus Walton and
Eliza Morton Walton. She married Bernie Robert Miller on November 30, 1923 in George West, Texas. They were the parents of ten children:

Frances Miller Turner (1927-2011)
Charles Odel Miller (1930-2012)
Bernice Miller (1936-1937)
John Thomas Miller 1937-
Charlene Miller Bishop 1941-
Rodney Lee Miller 1946-
Three sons who died after birth.
