Killed in vehicle accident
Colby Chase Kesterson age 20, of Malvern went to be with his Lord on Saturday July 31, 2010. He was born June 9, 1990 in Hot Springs to William Keith and Brenda Kay Walters Kesterson. Colby was a graduate of Poyen High School and Pulaski Tech Auto Body and Paint division. He was also a Member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church and Hughes Hunting Club. Colby was employed by Allen Tillery Chevrolet collison center in Hot Springs. Colby found a love of truck and car shows that his PaPa Shinn started him out at an early age. Colby also loved to deer and turkey hunt and had an obsession with mud, riding in it either on four wheelers or trucks. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: W.H. and Tommie Belle Kesterson, and Bill Shinn, also two brothers William Corey and Samuel Cole Kesterson.
Survivors include his parents: Keith and Brenda Kesterson of Malvern, grandmother: Alberta Hance of Diamondhead, grandparents: Sammy and Terry Walters of Malvern, his fiancée' Rebecca Cate and son Payton of Malvern, many aunts and uncles and cousins, special friend Jon Howard, and special cousin Chaney Miller and many, many friends
Visitation will be Monday, August 2, from 6-8pm at Regency Funeral Home in Malvern.
Services will be held Tuesday August 3, at 10:00am in the Regency Chapel with Brother Wesley Howard and Scott Efird officiating. Burial will be in in Rockport Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Jonathon Williams, Josh Gatlin, Jordan Ables, Jace Burnett, Ben Fleming Taylor Beard, Jason Denley, and Clay Looney. Honorary pallbearers : Dustin Johnson, Riley Chadwick,Jared Daniel and Jon Howard.
The Colby Kesterson Memorial Scholarship fund has been set up at Summit Bank.
Arrangements are by Regency Funeral Home.
