September 4, 2019 - July 11, 2021

Memphis Alton Cash, 22 months, passed away on Sunday, July 11, 2021.

On September 4, 2019 a handsome baby boy was born to Matt and Allison Cash at CHI St. Vincent in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Memphis Alton Cash joined big brother Kellan and big sisters Hadley and Keleigh to complete the Cash family. To meet Memphis was to fall in love immediately. He was happy, healthy, and hilarious. Even during chemo treatments or just coming out of brain surgery Memphis always managed to have that famous cheeseburger smile.

He never met a stranger or a food he didn’t like he was especially fond of Nannie Connies Mexican rice and refried beans. When Memphis visited pa & mimi he could always expect a vanilla ice cream cone.

Memphis could be found playing with cousins Gideon or Colson and spent a lot of time at the local ballfields watching big sister Hadley play softball for the diamond divas.

Memphis loved all things Mickey Mouse.

Our world was rocked on August 9, 2020 at just 11 months old Memphis monster, as he was lovingly referred to, was found to have a golf ball size brain tumor.

Aside from his immediate family Memphis leaves behind his pa and mimi, Steve and Tami Cash of Malvern; papaw and memaw, Tony and Modie McHan of Heber Springs; great grandfather, Alfred Elrod of Malvern; great grandmother, Betty Cash of Malvern; great grandparents, Gus and Connie Reyes of Dumas; great grandmother, Margaret McHan of Quitman; his uncle, Nick Cash of Malvern; aunt Allexa and uncle Jeff Champ of McGehee. A very special great uncle Rick Reyes of Dumas.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 15 from 6:00-8:00pm at Regency Funeral Home.

Services will be Friday, July16 at 2:00pm at Regency Funeral Home with Brother Tony Williams and Brother Dillon Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Rockport Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are Steve Cash, Tony McHan, Nick Cash and Rick Reyes.
