August 26, 1928 - March 6, 2015
Warren Eugene Waldo, age 86, of Dover, died Friday, March 6, 2015, at the Paris Health and Rehabilitation Center in Paris. He was born August 26, 1928, at Bull Frog Valley in Pope County to Bill and Mae Lovelady Waldo. He was a longtime member of the Dover Free Will Baptist Church and was the president and longtime member of the Waldo Deer Camp and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Waldo; a grandson, Roger Waldo Jr.; and a brother and five sisters.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Roger Sr. and Shirley Waldo of Dover; a brother and sister-in-law, Ed and Winona Waldo of Russellville; and two great-granddaughters, Kaitlyn and Karah Waldo.
The graveside service will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, March 10, 2015, at McFadden Cemetery near Dover with the Rev. Herb Tilley officiating and under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

April 25, 1936 - January 6, 2011
Janice Waldo, 74, a resident of Dover, died Thursday, January 6, 2011, at her home.
She was born April 25, 1936, near Pelsor to Elmer George and Myrtle May Beare Gregory.
She was a founding member of the First Free Will Baptist Church at Dover and was recently retired from the Dover School District where she worked in the cafeteria for more than 15 years. She was a devout Christian and loved gardening, her church and her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Grady Aften Gregory; and her grandson, Roger Warren Waldo Jr..
Survivors include her husband, Warren Waldo of Dover; a son and daughter-in-law, Roger Sr. and Shirley Waldo of Dover; two great-granddaughters, Kaitlyn and Karah Waldo; three sisters, Donna Taylor of Springdale, Rachael Curtis of Dover and Virginia Berkhart of Kansas; and other relatives and friends.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, January 10, 2011, at the First Free Will Baptist Church at Dover with the Rev. Herb Tilley officiating. Burial will be in McFadden Cemetery at Dover under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service.
Active pallbearers will be Bill and J. W. "Jon" Standridge, Bert Lynch and Alan Boatwright. Honorary pallbearers will be Kenneth Rutledge, Kenneth Summers, Troy Curtis and Dr. C. D. "Whitey" Robertson.
