April 29, 1951 - June 9, 2014
Ruby Marie Randall Tankersley, 63, of Russellville, passed away on Monday, June 9, 2014, at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center. She was born April 29, 1951, in Vidor, Texas, to Edward Earl and Daisy Jewel Wiggins Randall.
Ruby served 25 years with the Arkansas Department of Health as a Hospice Nurse. She was a wonderful person who cared for everyone, but especially for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, Freddie Tankersley of Russellville; two sons, Irvin Stanley of Russellville, and Freddie O. Tankersley of Mobile, Alabama; one daughter, Hope Bohanan of Atkins; five brothers and three sisters-in-law, Robert Randall and wife Shelda of Vidor, Texas, Arthur Randall of Hemphill, Texas, Timothy Randall and wife Sabrina of Fannett, Texas, Mark Randall and wife Misty of Fannett, Texas, and Edward Earl Randall Jr. and wife Camille of Dover; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Linda Morris and husband Zim of Port Neches, Texas, Patti Linder and husband Joey of Port Neches, Texas, and Marian Prince and husband Larry of Port Arthur, Texas; six grandchildren, Danielle Hughes, Victoria and Alexis Bishop, Ashley and Cameron Stanley, and Heather Dawn; six great-grandchildren, Logan and Daniel Stanley, Swayzee Hughes, Adaleigh Ardwin, Linda Marie, and Kyzen Smith; numerous nieces and nephews, and many cherished friends, patients, and co-workers.
She was loved not only by her family, but by all who crossed her paths.
The graveside service and burial will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, June 12, 2014 at McFadden Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Ronnie Morris, and under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
