ROGERS — Matthew Ray Daniels, 29, of Rogers, went to be with Jesus on Saturday, February 6. Born August 22, 1986 to Ray and Flora Daniels, Matt grew up in Springdale. As a child, he gave his life to Jesus. He married Amy Doyle in 2010. He received his Associates degree from NWACC.
Matt loved the Lord and wanted God to have the glory in his life, whether on the mountain or in the valley. He found great comfort in Revelations 22:1, "And He showed me a pure river, of water as life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb."
He is survived by his wife, Amy Daniels, of the home, parents, Ray and Flora Daniels of Springdale, mother-in-law, Arleen Doyle of the home; brothers, Troy Daniels of Lawton, Okla., Heathe Daniels of Lawton, Okla., Chad Daniels of Duncan, Okla., Christopher White of Pennsylvania, Jeremiah Williams of Bentonville, Travis Williams of Lowell; sister, Jodi Witt of Colorado Springs, Colo.; grandmother, Winnie Daniels of Georgia and numerous family and friends who will miss him greatly.
The family will receive visitors on Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m., at the Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th, Rogers. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday at Freedom Freewill Baptist Church in Garfield, with Bros. Harold Hodge and Paul Caldwell officiating. His body will be laid to rest at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Garfield. Memorial contributions to Circle of Life Hospice. Online condolences to www.bentoncountyfuneralhome.com.
