October 2, 1936 - January 4, 2014
Jacquelyn Ruth Caswell age 77, passed away Saturday, January 4, 2014 at Wentworth Place. She was born October 2, 1936 in Magnolia to the late Samuel Curtis "Jack" and Nola (Carroll) Holly.
In addition to raising her family, Jacquelyn was also a career woman. She graduated from Southern State University in 1972 with a teaching degree. From 1972-1980 she taught in the McNeil Public School System and before her retirement she had also worked as a childcare worker. In her spare time she enjoyed crocheting, working puzzles and loved to play card games. But her greatest joy came from spending time with her family. She will be missed dearly and remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Debbie Martin and husband, Dennis of Waldo; her three sons, Tommy Caswell and wife, Dianne of Springhill, AR; David Caswell and special friend, Violet Baxley of Magnolia; Benny Caswell and wife, Beth of Magnolia; Grandchildren, Leanna Langley and husband, Josh of Camden, Racheal Caswell of Springhill, AR; Wendy Satterfield and husband, Brandon of Magnolia; Dana Kelly and Todd Huffman of McNeil; William Holmes, Jimmy, Austin and Amanda Miller, Lisa Colbert and Jordan Braswell all of Magnolia; Great Grandchildren, Caleb and Kylie Kelly of McNeil; Colton Satterfield of Magnolia; Chase and Cierra Guidry of Waldo; Brantley Langley of Camden; two sisters, Glenda Foreman of Magnolia; Doris Daugherty and husband, Gene of Louisville, KY; two brothers, Curtis ?Sonny? Holly of Magnolia; James ?Bobo? Holly and wife, Eleanor of Magnolia; a special friend and caregiver, Nikita Evans of Waldo; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and family friends. The family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff of Serenity Hospice and Wentworth Place The Brown House.
Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6-8PM at Bailey Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be at 2:00PM Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Danny Bullock officiating and assisted by Tyree Watkins. Burial will follow at Waldo Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home in Magnolia.
Pallbearers will be Jamie Waller, William Holmes, Jordan Bolser, Todd Huffman, Josh Langley and Jordan Braswell.
Memorials may be made to Serenity Hospice or Wentworth Place.
