Jackie Watson, 64, of Alma, AR, died Thursday, April 7, 2011, near Ozark, AR.
He was born March 12, 1947 in Ozark, AR.
He was a retired Chemistry and Physics teacher for the Alma School district, and a member of 81 Free Will Baptist Church where he taught Sunday School, and was also an avid fisherman and hunter.
He is survived by his wife, Mary of the home; a daughter, Wendy Baxter of Alma, AR; a sister, Tincy Doss of Ozark, AR; two brothers, Herbert Watson of Ozark, AR and Donald Watson of Ozark, AR; two grandchildren, Hannah and Haven Baxter of Alma, AR, also survived by a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Services will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at Edwards Van-Alma Chapel in Van Buren, AR with a burial at Mt. McCurry Cemetery in Rudy, AR under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Doug Ritchie, Pat Flynn, Ted Burkhart, Johnny Mizell, Barney McNatt, Joe Mast, Curtis O'Kelley and Tommy Brammer.
Honorary Pallbearers will be the members of 81 Free Will Baptist Church, Rudy, AR
