Bertha Faye Hamilton, 81, of Magnolia, formerly of Buckner, passed away Sunday, June 30, 2019 at the Community Compassions Center in Magnolia.
Bertha was born on July 8, 1937 in Emmett. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Buckner.
Bertha was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Jones; mother, Nellie Marie Glanton; husbands, Windell Hamilton and Warren Lewis; and brother, Monroe Cox.
She is survived by her daughters, Cathy Lewis Weaver and husband James and Nancy Murphy and husband Paul, all of Magnolia; son, Wendell Lewis of Buckner; granddaughter, Lori Callison of Magnolia; grandson, Joe Leslie of Conway; great-granddaughter, Makala Leslie of Magnolia; and sister, Marion Helen Nelson of Prescott.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 6, 2019 at the Lewis Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Andy Hawkins officiating. Burial will follow at the Waldo Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., in Magnolia. Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
