Rev. Robert Satterfield, 78, of Alma, Arkansas died Friday, July 9, 1993, at a Fort Smith, Arkansas hospital. He was a retired minister for Freedom Freewill Baptist Church in Alma where he had pastored 20 years. He also pastored at Oliver Springs Community Church, 81 Freewill Baptist Church, Locke Freewill Baptist Church and Pigeon Creek Freewill Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held Monday at Freedom Freewill Baptist Church in Alma, Arkansas. Burial was at Mount McCurry Cemetery in Rudy, Arkansas.
He is survived by his wife; three daughters, Dorothy, Sarah and Mary; one son, two sisters; 10 grandchildrean and three great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Freedom Freewill Baptist Church in Alma, Arkansas.
Funeral arrangements were made by Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren, Arkansas.

Donna Satterfield, 80, of Alma died Friday, Aug. 18, 2000, in a local nursing home. She was a homemaker, member of Freedom Freewill Baptist Church in Alma and the widow of the Rev. Robert Satterfield.
Funeral service was 10 a.m. Monday at Freedom Freewill Baptist Church in Alma with burial at Mount McCurry Cemetery in Rudy under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.
She is survived by three daughters, Dorothy English of Little Rock and Sarah Woody and Mary Keith, both of Alma; one son, Clovis of Alma; one sister, Vera Mattingly of Fort Smith; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Tony Maxwell, Chris and Rick Keith, Kyle Satterfield, Chris Dodson, Darrell Gregory and Richard Longmate.
Honorary pallbearers were the Freedom Freewill Baptist Ladies Prayer Group.
