Jackie Harold Peters, 62 of Van Buren passed away Friday, November 11, 2016 in his home.

He was owner/operator of Jack’s Pool Service in Van Buren; a reserve officer for Mulberry Police Department; a hunter education instructor for 33 years and a private pilot. He was a member of the Alma and Cedarville Masonic Lodges and a member of the Pleasant Valley Church of Christ in Van Buren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Millard, Sr. and Sylvia (Pope) Peters; one brother, Jerry Peters.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at Pleasant Valley Church of Christ in Van Buren with burial at Mt. McCurry Cemetery in Rudy under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Peters of the home; two sons, Jason Peters and wife, Heather of Springdale, Arkansas, Jeff Peters of Van Buren; three brothers, Millard Lee Peters, Jr. and wife, Louise of Fort Smith, Phil Peters and wife, Ann of Van Buren, Fred Peters and wife, Teresa of Mountainburg.

Pallbearers will be Bryan Hood, Charles Boster, Shawn Taylor, Terry Kirby, Bruce Copeland and Lonnie Myers.
Honorary pallbearers will be Master Masons of the Masonic Fraternity.
