BELLA VISTA — Flossie Mae Harlow, 88, of Bella Vista died Oct. 8, 2008, at Northwest Medical Center-Bentonville. She was born June 15, 1920, in Meta, Mo., to Charles William and Emma Parthena Woody Welsh.
She moved to the area in August 1981 from St. Louis. She was a member of Bella Vista Baptist Church, the 5-Hole Golf League and Ceramics Club and was a volunteer at Village House of Bella Vista. She married M. Lee Harlow on Jan. 29, 2004.
She was preceded in death y her first husband, William Barton, on July 29, 2000.
Survivors include her husband, M. Lee Harlow of Bella Vista; a son, Gary Richard Barton of Lenexa, Kan.; a daughter, Judith Mae Stewart of St. Louis; seven grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Bella Vista Baptist Church with the Rev. Michael McCauley officiating.
Arrangements are by Bella Vista Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bella Vista Baptist Church, 50 E. Lancashire Blvd., Bella Vista, 72714.
