Raymond Henry Phillips, 80, of Rudy died Sunday, September 2, 2007, in a Fort Smith, Arkansas hospital. Husband of Elva Audine Medlock Phillips.

He was a retired furniture finisher, a Baptist and an Army veteran of World War II.

Funeral services were at 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Ocker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Van Buren, Arkansas. Interment followed in Mount McCurry cemetery in Rudy.

He was survived by two daughters, Diana Eubanks of Rudy and Terri Britton of Felton, Delaware; a sister, Ida Coleman of Park Hill, Oklahoma; three brothers, Paul Phillips of Odessa, Missouri, Tom Phillips of Oceola, Missouri, and Hershel Phillips of Cusseta, Georgia; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Anthony Eubanks, Troy Watson, Brian Tweedy, Casey Whitehouse, John Ellison, and Ted Wells.
