Funeral rites for Robert Lee Pitman, 66, of Rudy, Arkansas, were held Wednesday at the New Hope Pentecostal Church at Rudy with the Rev. Gilbert Pixley and the Rev. Acie McFadden officiating. Burial was in Mt. McCurry Cemetery by Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home.
Mr. Pitman died Sunday in a local hospital. He was a retired Riverside Furniture Co. employee and a member of the Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Fran and Bonnie; a son Paul; three sisters May, Pearl and Cecil; a brother and six grandchildren.

Thelma Lane Riggs, 92, of Van Buren, Arkansas passed away on July 30, 2016 in local nursing home.
She was a retired factory worker, owned the first Beauty Shop in Rudy, a former nurse's aid for Crawford County Nursing Center, Avon salesperson and of the Pentecostal faith.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Bob Pitman and Buster Brown Riggs; and a brother, Robert Lane.
Funeral Service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at Ocker Chapel of Alma with interment at Mt. McCurry Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.
Survivors include 2 daughters; Bonnie Brammer and husband Carl of Van Buren; Frances Orrick and husband David of Fort Smith; one son, Paul Wood and wife Lorna of Van Buren; 2 brothers, Paul Lane and wife Elizabeth of Hugo, OK; Joe Lane and wife Helen of Wichita, KS; 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Anthony Cox, Austin Gillet, Carlton Brammer, Lee Brammer, Michael Orrick and Glendell Barker.
Honorary pallbearers will be Tyler Gillet, Andrew Brammer, Luke Brammer, Carl Brammer, David Orrick and Brent Barker.
