On Sunday, May 2, 2016, Freddie Wilson, 83, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Freddie was born on May 30, 1932 to Moses and Minnie Ward Wilson in El Dorado
.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and 11 siblings.
Freddie leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife of 50 years, Verna Jackson Wilson of El Dorado; three sons, Terry Wilson of Dallas, Kelvin Wilson (Marilyn) of Webster, Mass., and Frederick Wilson of Bakersfield, Calif.; one daughter, Freda Wilson Hopkins of Arlington, Texas; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. today and from 8:30 until 11:30 a.m. on Friday at Sims Mortuary.
Funeral will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 6, at Mount Calvary Baptist Church in El Dorado. Interment will follow in the Mount Calvary Cemetery, El Dorado, under the direction of the Sims Mortuary Staff.
