Lonnie D. Phillips "Wayne" was born March 20, 1965, in El Dorado, Arkansas, to Essie B. Tubbs Phillips and the late Lonnie T. Phillips.

Wayne accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church of El Dorado, Arkansas. Wayne met the love of his life, Bernadette Rucks Phillips, in 1984 and was married on May 22, 1990. During this union, they raised four children. Wayne was a faithful worker at Tim Curry Logging for over 20 years until his health started to fail. Wayne loved to hunt and fish. His hobbies also included cooking. He loved to bake German chocolate cakes, BBQ and make homemade wine.

Wayne is preceded in death by his brother Lonnie T. Phillips Jr.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories, Bernadette, his wonderful wife of 31 years, seven sisters, Brenda Norful of Junction City, AR, Connie Phillips of El Dorado, AR, Sidney Hill of Camden, AR, LeQuisha Heard, LeKeita Heard, & Shirley Newton of El Dorado, AR, and Carrie Taylor of Lillie, LA, one brother, Jamie T. Phillips of El Dorado, AR, two sons, Marcus Dade (Crystal), Lamontra Dade (Marian), two daughters Kathy Phillips, & Katherine Phillips, all of El Dorado, AR, eight grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who will all miss him dearly.
