Mrs. Maude Melton, 77 years old, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, died Wednesday night, March 13, 1968 in a local hospital following a long illness. Born March 3, 1891 at Rudy, Arkansas, she was the daughter of Charles William and Mary Inez Miller O'Kelley and a member of First Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors are a son; a sister, Mary; four brothers; two grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
The funeral service was held at First Free Will Baptist church Saturday at 2 p.m. with Rupert Pixley officiating. Burial, directed by Fentress Mortuary, was in Mt. McCurry Cemetery near Rudy, Arkansas.
