Mr. Ward H. Keith Jr. of Alma(Crawford County), Arkansas died Saturday, August 9, 2008, at Summit Medical Center, in Van Buren(Crawford County), Arkansas. Mr. Keith was 68 years old. He was a retird construction worker; a U.S. NAVY veteran; a member of the Butterfield Assembly of God Church in Van Buren, Arkansas; a founder and lifelong member of the Crawford County Horseman's Association; and the owner of Ward Keith Arena and Diamond K Stables.
Mr. Keith was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by by his wife: Mary Alice Keith; a daughter: Martha Dodson and family, of aris, Arkansas; for sons: Chris Keith and family, of Kibler, Arkansas, Rick Keith and family, Ruby, Arkansas, Mark Keith and family, of Hillsboro, Oregon, and Tony Maxwell and family, of Kibler, Arkansas; a sister: Shirley Collyar, of Ponca City, Oklahoma; two brothers: Bill Keith, of Kibler, Arkanas and Bobby Keith, of Fort Smith, Arkansas; 13 wonderful grandchildren; 5 precious great-grandchildren; and a host of good friends.
Funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 13, 2008, at 10:00a.m. in the butterfield Assembly of God Church. The Rev. Ronnie Gilmore officiated the service.

Pallbearers were: Chris Keith, Rick Keith, Tony Maxwell, Eli Maxwell, and Chris Dodson.
