Earl Eugene Irvan, 84 of Van Buren passed away Sunday, April 20, 2014 in a local hospital.

He was a former service station operator in Van Buren; a lifelong residence of Crawford County and a native of Rudy, Arkansas; He was an U.S. Navy Veteran of the Korean War.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Noah and Eva (Cradduck) Irvan, a twin sister and five brothers.

Graveside service will be at 10 AM Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Mt. McCurry Cemetery in Rudy under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Verna (Osman) Irvan of the home; four daughters, Diane Gordon of Dora, Janice White and husband, Jerry of Van Buren, Angela Moore and husband, Gary of Poteau, OK, Courtney Butler and husband, Ronnie of Barling; one son, James Irvan of Van Buren; one sister, Helen Flannery of Dallas, TX; two sister-in-law's Okie Hunter of Van Buren, Marilyn Irvan of Boise, Idaho; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Verna Lee Irvan, 78 of Van Buren passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2018.

She retired from Walmart after thirty years of service, was a homemaker, and was of the Christian faith. She loved to crochet and was a very devoted mother and wife.

She was preceded in death by her husband Earl, three sisters Iva Davis, Barbara Farrar, and Gloria DuBuc; five brothers Lee, Clifford Jr., Donald, Francis and Ronnie Osman; her parents Cliff Osman and Burdetta (Daily) Osman.

Funeral services will be 10AM, Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Ocker Memorial Chapel with burial at Mt. McCurry in Rudy under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

She is survived by four daughters Courtney Butler and her husband Ronnie of Barling, Diane Gordon and her husband Eddie of Dora, Janice White and her husband Jerry of Van Buren, Angela Moore and her husband Gary of Fort Smith; one son James Irvan of Van Buren; six sisters Imogene Harrell of Pittsburg Kansas, Dorothy Wann of Greenwood, Joyce Rowlett of Ozark, Darlene Taylor of Fort Smith, Melva Weiser of Barling, Donna Zachary of San Antonio, Texas; two brothers Lonnie Osman of Rudy and Jerry Osman of Chester; seven grandchildren Amber, Jamie, Joe Ray, Timothy, Lianna, Kinser and Sam; twelve great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Gary Moore, Eddie Gordon, Jesse Hash, Ronnie Butler, Jerry White, and James Irvan.
